Why it's time to lead a less digital lifestyle

A fully digital world was supposed to bring utopia. Kids could learn anywhere. Business could happen anywhere. New international opportunities could emerge, all without ever leaving your hometown.

But with smartphones in our pockets, and a pandemic shifting everything we do online, it soon became clear that never disconnecting had more than a few drawbacks.

Author and journalist David Sax joins the Rotman Visiting Experts podcast to talk about his new book The Future is Analog, about the societal pitfalls of a fully digital world, how we can reclaim parts of our offline lives, and what we lose when our entire existence moves to the cloud.

Join us next month as we chat with author David McRaney about how to change the minds of, well, anyone.

New episodes of Rotman Visiting Experts are released monthly on SpotifyApple Podcasts, and Google Podcasts. Desktop listeners can also tune in on Simplecast.
