The Program is for experienced police officers who seek to advance to the executive levels of police command and management and who have:
• 10 years experience as a sworn police officer, with a record of high achievement
• Demonstrated potential and ambition to move into a command position
• Sponsorship and support from his/her service

A limited number of qualified civilian police managers are accepted for each class.

Participants are nominated by their Chief or Commissioner and sponsored by their department. The OACP Admissions Committee oversees final participant selection. The Nomination and Reference form is available on-line at: http://www-2.rotman.utoronto.ca/plp/applications.html
