The Rotman MBA Business Conference is an annual student-organized event and provides a forum for executives, students and alumni to discuss crucial issues facing today’s business community. This year’s edition focuses on the challenges Canadian firms face in the quest for capital from start-up to IPO and beyond. The conference will bring together a cross section of individuals who are involved with the pursuit of securing capital and those who grant and regulate the industry. Discussion will focus on experiences entrepreneurs and their companies have had trying to raise capital and issues surrounding any gaps that might exist at various stages in this process.
