Rotman Explores Secrets of Successful Leadership Symposium Features Leaders from P&G and Red Hat Inc
TORONTO
-
On October 21, more than 100 senior executives will gather at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management for a unique one-day symposium on leadership. Leading Organizations into the New Century: The Psychology of Leadership will bring together leaders of top North American corporations to share details of their challenges and strategies. Presenters include: Robert Young, Red Hat Inc. chairman and CEO; Micheline Bouchard, Motorola Canada chairman, president & CEO; John Pepper, Procter & Gamble chairman; David Smith and Tom O'Neill, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP chair and CEO (respectively); and Anthony Comper, Bank of Montreal CEO.
The symposium is a joint presentation of the Rotman School and the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA). "By bringing together a group of experienced leaders from different industries and corporate cultures to share their insights, the Rotman School and the CPA can help senior managers tackle the challenge of creating positive leadership environments in their own organizations," says Gary Latham, CPA President and Rotman Secretary of State Professor of Organizational Behaviour, who will facilitate the session with Roger L. Martin, Dean of the Rotman School of Management.
Tickets and corporate tables are available by calling (416) 978-4441 or on the web at www.rotman.utoronto.ca/execprog/edev/psychology.htm. Fees start at $695 per person. A discount is available for alumni of the Rotman School.
