Rotman MBA Business Conference Examines the Quest for Capital

TORONTO, January 17, 2002 -- Even before the current turbulent economic times, Canadian firms faced significant challenges in the quest for capital at different stages of their development from start-up to IPO and beyond. The 12th annual Rotman MBA Business Conference brings together a cross section of individuals who are involved in the pursuit of securing capital and those who grant and regulate the industry. Discussion will focus on experiences entrepreneurs and their companies have had trying to raise capital and issues surrounding any gaps that might exist at various stages in this process.
