Alan Webber, Founding Editor of Fast Company Magazine, to Speak at Rotman School.

TORONTO – Alan Webber, founding editor of one of the world’s top business magazines, will speak at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto as part of the Unilever Speaker Series.

In 1993, Webber co-founded Fast Company, a different kind of business magazine designed to give people the tools they need to succeed in today’s world of work.  As the founding editor, Webber is responsible not only for driving, managing and contributing to the content of the magazine, but also for evolving the publication’s unique character and style.

The event will be held on Thursday, January 28 at the Rotman School of Management, 105 St. George Street, Toronto in the Fleck Atrium from 6:00 to 8:00 pm with remarks by Webber and Dean Roger Martin at approximately 6:30 pm.

Each year Unilever Canada sponsors a student run speaker series at the Rotman School of Management. The Unilever Speaker Series aims to enhance the student's MBA experience by bringing in leaders of the business community to share real world, leading edge insights into today's global marketplace.
