Rotman School Faculty Member Named as a Top Professor by Marketing News Canada

Toronto, December 19, 2022 – Angèle Beausoleil, an assistant professor of business design and innovation at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, has been named as one of the top public relations, marketing and communications professors and instructors for 2022. Ten leading women were identified for their ongoing contributions to the industry and the students they mentor by Marketing News Canada, a British Columbia-based marketing magazine.

Prof. Beausoleil is the academic director of the Business Design Initiative at the Rotman School, an emerging education and action research centre focused on design-driven innovation leadership. She teaches human-centred design, innovative leadership and creativity to executives, MBA and Commerce students. She has worked with corporate brands such as Starbucks, McDonalds, Sony, The Gap, Telus, and global initiatives such as the 2010 Winter Olympics and the Society of Digital Innovators (SoDA). She is visiting lecturer of applied innovation at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business and is the author of Business Design Thinking and Doing: Frameworks, Strategies and Techniques for Sustainable Innovation.
