Prof. David Soberman commented on the dual announcements by Wal-Mart that it was increasing the minimum wage paid to its workers in the United States in light of the new federal tax cuts and that it was closing 63 underperforming Sam's Club locations. Prof. Soberman was heard on a segment on CBC Radio stations across Canada on January 12.
